curious!

My camping has really suffered this year with solo trips to OK, FL and OH to see family. Four months of traveling and over 11.000 miles. I was planning on October, my favorite time, but our son in FL is due to have a baby then. Or rather, his wife is.:) So odds are that will go by the wayside, too.

Two weeks is tight to make that trip, but when I worked and hadn’t built up much vacation time I did it, too. You’re timing is good, it may be a bit warm in the daytime but nights should be really pleasant. Have a great trip, Tara.

Ahhh just love fall camping. Warm days, cool nights, reduced camping fees, no flies, and no ankle biters.. they are all back in school getting educated so that they can afford to by an RV and learn to enjoy Fall camping. Even the fish bite better!

We like fall more than spring but sometimes we're stuck between caring for DGKs and their activities. Two years ago we took off Sept 15 and got home two days before Thanksgiving. Only problem,in the NE some campgrounds are closed by mid October or earlier. Other than that it was a fantastic time to be on the road.We usually spen the spring doing stuff with the DGKs. 2014 looks like Maui or Oahu or both. We usually go to Hawaii but the DGD asked about someplace new.

I cram biggest trips into summer vacation schedule for kid's school.

but in Oct. I am pulling her out on a friday and saturday for a 4 day trip to the beach. Also we camp thru the weekends when we can into the very cold weather time.

Fall is a wonderful time for camping. that cool crisp air and tree colors are great.

We go go go as much as we can and any times we can cram in a trip :)

Looks like we won't be going anywhere except weekends since we keep our grandson during the week. Looking forward to his fall break for a nice trip in October.

We are leaving Friday for Glacier, Yellowstone, and Grand Teton's National Parks. Been saving up the leave to take three weeks off. Can't wait!

Because of Otis' new seasonal job, we only went camping once so far. But come October, we're heading to NH for 2 weeks! Woo Hoo! Agnes

Heading to the Ozarks for 10 days the first of October.

We don't head to Disneyworld until November. Can't afford the time during the summer months.

We are getting ready to head out for 5 days. We often get more days in after Labor day than before.
