We will be at this campground the first part of July, and my question is....is this area considered bear country where food can't be kept inside a tent trailer and ALL coolers have to be locked inside...

No bears, but plenty of ground squirrels or chipmunks or whatever those cute, but pesky critters are. If you leave food out, they will find it and make a mess.
