Plantation Place in Sunnyvale is our choice, east of Dallas. Much closer and easier access to downtown. Coming and going to Grapevine on 635 is a nightmare during peak times. PP has no amenities but good hook-ups including cable which the Vineyards doesn't have. The Vineyards is a beautiful park and Grapevine is a charming little town. It all depends what you want and are willing to pay for. last time I stayed at The Vineyards it was $65.00 per nt. PP was $195 per week.
