Will be in Dallas area first week of March. Any suggestions for campgrounds close to downtown ? Thanks.

Sorry. No such thing... You will have to drive into town from any parks. The KOA off of I-20 on Cooper in Arlington is nice. I lived there for a year while working at Baylor in Dallas. To the north there is Lake Lavon which is not too far from Dallas. There is a park in Plano on I-75 but it is really ratty.
