Well yes someone can steal your fingerprints. That just makes my point, we should not be using biometrics at all for this sort of thing. Bruce Schneier the well known security writer and educator is against biometric use for that very reason. His blog is where I was alerted to the problem.
They are easy to steal and they are unchangeable without a set of finger graffs anyway. What is there to like about them? They can be stolen from a high resolution photograph.
