We stayed there in 2011 and enjoyed it (full name is Dead Horse Point SP). The overlook of the bend in the Colorado River is spectacular, and a lot of campers go back to the point for sunset there.
You can walk from the campground to a small visitor center.
Some sites are not level, but the staff members when we were there were very willing to offer another option for a switch.
