We stayed in the lower section last fall in a pull thru site. We liked the lower section since there was vegetation and more privacy between sites.
This is one of those campgrounds where is there not much difference between the quality of sites. You choice is pretty clear - up high or down low.
You can walk into downtown along a river trail and sit at one of the coffee shops and enjoy the old town area,
