Death Valley suggestions early January
Nope, no reservations made. 40ft motorhome. Thinking of stopping for a few days on the way south. Hows the Furnace Creek RV resort? Any other suggestions?

We really liked Mesquite Springs Campground, up by Scotty's Castle -- great views of the mountains all around -- and yes, that is snow -- this was taken in December a few years ago:
