Defeated Creek and Salt Lick Campgrounds-Detour

I thought I would post this for anyone traveling to Defeated Creek or Salt Lick Campgrounds in the Middle Tennessee area. Be aware they are working on Highway 25 at Carthage, a rock slide area. You ...

Have taken Turkey Creek Rd to get to the visitor center at the dam several times. Not sure I'd want to go that route with the motorhome. I hope the rockslide is cleared before we head that way in August.
