In our park, people think their properties are worth so much more than they really are. They bought their lots dirt cheap, then put a travel trailer or park model on them. In some cases the park models are like a travel trailer with tip outs, 80's models, etc. Then they started adding on to the point that it would not be recognizable as a trailer. Some do look very nice, but it is a trailer that's been added on to. They want a price that resembles what you would ask for a stick built home. That's why nothing is selling here. They probably don't have $15,000-20,000 invested and they want 3-4 times that. No way to get around it, an RV does not appreciate in value. . . even if you add on to it.
