You are on to something here. Many of my friends are now facing the decision of where they want to die. Used to be about a 50-50 chance of where they would finish the dance, now they are spending what time and money they have at one location or the other.
As to the value of winter housing, you could not give many of the park models and mobile homes to the next generation. Some RGV parks are planning for the future by renting/selling to local residents who are eager to live in the safety and confines of an RV park.
