Desert Cypress RV Park and Wickenburg in February?

Multipart question... Thinking about breaking out of our routine and spending the month of February in Wickenburg. Looking at Desert Cypress RV park on rvparkreviews. Good reviews, called and talked with owner. Would like to hear from anybody that has stayed there. If you stay somewhere else, we would like to hear from you as well. Got to have 50 amp, sewer, water, ATT service and must be dog friendly preferably with a place to run.

Did research on things to do in the area. Desert Cypress owner said they had an active ATVing community that goes out twice a week which appeals to us since we have a Wildcat and Jeep Rubicon. But we also like to hike, bird watch and otherwise get lost in the desert. We don't golf, play bingo, do crafts or geezer karaoke night. Kind of looks like we could stay busy in Wickenburg. Your comments please?

  • Since the Escapees park was mentioned, I'll add this:

We stayed at North Ranch, the Escapees park. I do not think they have 50 amp service. Otherwise it would be perfect for you. Dog friendly, some room to run, and a gate that opens to the desert. Many people with RAZRs and such. Lots of hobbyist gold miners too.

If you choose to stay, join the Escapees, as mentioned above. The rate reductions pay for the membership and then some.
  • The senior rodeo on weekends is fun as well as the parade and rodeo for Wickenburg Gold Rush Days
