Destin Florida RV camping choices - Help

I have never been to Florida with my 5th wheeler and I hear the beaches are really nice. I see there is Ft Walton beach Okaloosa area that looks good and Destin area but I would like to have a RV site near things to do so I am not traveling far to go places. Any Ideas? :@

    Camp gulf in Destin is real nice. We stayed there and they have sites right on the beach if you want.

    I would add Grayton Bch SP (Walton Bch area) also which has one loop that is FHU.

    If you don't need full hookups than Henderson Beach State Park is the best, if looking for full hookups and a resort atmosphere try Topsail Hill State Park.
