I few that I would recommend in NC there's Camp Hatteras RV Resort Campground

In the Lake George Area of NY there's Lake George RV Park, Lake George Escape and the newly opened Moose Hillock Camping Resort (moose hillock is family owned and they also have a resort campground in Warren NH)

Normandy Farms in Foxboro MA

We are always looking for new places to relax and have fun especially during the summer. We would like to find a location that is a destination in itself.

What we would like to find is a resort/campground/park that we can go to, setup at our site and sit back and relax and not have to leave to find any activities.

The wife and I are 40 something empty nesters. We like activities like tennis, bike/walking trails, kayaking, nightly movies, etc.

We would like your input for the resort/campground/park that would fit the bill. Can be anywhere and price isn't a problem as long as you get what you pay for. If within walking distance to the beach, restaurants, etc. that would be bonus. We mainly just want to park and not have to drive anywhere to have fun. If the place offered shuttle service to areas of interest then double bonus :)

Trailer Village - Grand Canyon. Nothing to do at the campsite, but the nearby bus will take you right to the canyon. Your vehicle never has to move.

Fort Wilderness at Walt Disney World - You can take the boat or bus to the parks, but there is plenty to do within the campground itself. Nice pools, rent boats, fish, hike the nature trails, EAT, EAT some more, spas at the resorts, etc. In any case, your vehicle never has to move, and you can relax without ever leaving the campground.
