Well I was kinda wanting serious responses...
I understand that. Trouble is that I think the majority of folks have RVs because they want to get out and about and see things, not sit in one place, so they don't have a serious answer to give. Personally we'd be bored stiff after just a day of what you are looking for. We bike, hike, see historical sites, etc., but have no desire to do it all without driving somewhere. We'll use a CG as a home base and explore the area around within an hour or so.
That said, I think there are many places with some of what you are looking for, but most RV "resorts" aren't resorts in the usual sense that people expect. They are just really nice, picture perfect places with extra amenities that a standard campground doesn't have. Things like hot tubs, pools, etc. Many have activities. Some are adjacent to bike trails or beaches. Some have shuttles available to go to casinos and other popular attractions. You just have to look around.
Most of the RV "resorts" that we've been to are remotely located and aren't walking distance to anything. The exception would be Grizzly RV in West Yellowstone, MT. Lots of restaurants and shops in town, all walking distance. But no pool or other activities. The big attraction there is Yellowstone National Park.
We also bike, hike, and other outside activities and that is what I said in the original post. We also explore the local area most of the time we travel. However, sometimes we just want a place that offers a lot to do within the park or within walking distance.
