Sorry, it does not take a week for the cold to get from Texas to Florida and the highs next week are all in the high 70s from Orlando south. The difference in the winter Hi/Low temp in Fla is historically 10 to 15 degrees and in RGV it's 15 to 20 degrees. In a normal south Fla winter I have to run my AC 15 afternoons, and the heat much the same in the mornings... not all day.
*No, the power savings do not make up for the higher prices in south Fla... usually $60/month.
