My two cents.. when I retire, I will be heading to place where there is a good amount of things to do locally. When I run out of stuff, I'll pick up and move on. Of course, maybe when Im in my 80's, I might want shuffleboard, but not anytime soon.

I am "from" Central Illinois but don't spend much time there. Either someplace cooler than there in the Summer or warmer in the Winter. Single Full Timer. I don't play shuffleboard either and I have been retired for many years.
