Also anyone who fought in WWII would now be in their high 80's or 90's with a few exceptions...I don't think those are the folks filling the RV Parks and it is certainly not the demographic the parks should be aiming at.
As for the electric yes monthly is normally the break where you are charged for electricity. Nowhere I stayed in AZ, CA, or any other state has ever charged me for electricity for a mere week.
The RGV is much cheaper than Fla and Brownsville is on almost the same latitude as Miami. The Mexican food is definitely better than FLA and it's not the madhouse that Fla is at Christmas-New Years. So it has it's benefits. But on the whole I'd rather be in the Baja or even AZ than here.
