We like to get as far away from others as we can but still within eyesight for added security.
It was funny at one of our favorite boondocking camps in the evening by the campfire I remarked to my wife at how empty the camp was. We couldn't see another RV in any direction. Just as we went to bed a heavy rain storm started, lots of wind and lightning. The boondocking site is near a major north south highway. In the morning it was still lightly raining when I got out to start the campfire there were 5 RVs parked around us. I guess they had had come off of the highway due to the storm and must have thought our spot was safe since we were there.
