Just curious if anyone is aware of any hotels/chains that also cater to overnight RVers and provide electric hookups between the northeast and the sunbelt? For instance I’ve heard of some near ski resorts in the northeast, but nothing on a broad scale and was curious if there were any that you all might know of to share! Tia!

I travel often for my job and NOT ever seen any hook-ups at any of the hotels I have stayed at...I am a Marriott Rewards Member, and primarily stay at their properties when I can.Now that does not mean there are not any......

we have seen a couple motels that set up a few elec hookups..a few years ago. I hoped it would catch on, but apparently not.

While I was working I traveled a lot for work, I would stay in big cities and small towns the closest I ever saw in Fairbanks, AK, but the plug in were for block heaters.Most hotels have tight parking lots to begin with, can’t see adding RV sites.

Casinos on the west coast sometimes have spots.

I don't know about hotels and chains, but some motels and casinos do have RV sites or parks associated with them. Often they give you access to what facilities are available, like restaurants & recreation facilities.I have compiled a list of the higher rated RV parks around the country over the last few years (low 7's to 10 on a 1-10 rating scale). I suggest you refer to your favorite RV search and rating site and do a name search for "hotel" and/or "motel." Below is an extract from my collection. I have only stayed at the Hollywood Casino in MS and the A+ Motel in LA from this list and they were both fine. Shelby RV Park is a small park located behind the Comfort Inn in Shelby, MT. You register at the Comfort Inn desk and can use all of the motels facilities. It has full hookups and has absolutely the nicest and cleanest bathhouse I've ever seen at any RV park.

Yep we have also, they also use them to run the bait well pumps.
Another place is big box store lots as long as they don't have no overnight parking signs. The bases of the lot lights often have outlets. Just be darn sure to check the voltage before plugging in.

I used to stay in my, at the time, class C at the 7 Springs skiing area near Pittsburg, Pa. Electric only as I remember but sure was handy.

Thank you! (Electric is really all we need so we can use electric blanket or portable electric heater.)

Thanks, for the info! (but with my luck we’d get cited or worse if we ever ttried to use them. But I have always wondered about if those were live when I’ve seen those on occasion! )

Some people (including me) have mentioned casinos. You should be aware of this site. Some casinos have an RV park associated with them, some have power and other hook ups, some just let you "boondock" in their parking lot. This site describes them and rates them.

We camped at one with a campground overnight once - we aren’t big on gambling, but it was a nice enough site for a night!
