We always used to make reservations ..... Just in case, you know. We are finishing up our 1st round-the-USA + 2 Provinces of Canada trip. We found you only need to have reservations on Holiday weekends. Otherwise, just show up. They have a spot for you.Is that your experience?

I prefer to have a reservation that way whenever I get there, I know I have a site. We generally stay at a CG for a few nights and like to enjoy whatever is in the area. Just our preference.

I only make reservations for those places that are high on my list: Seven Feathers, Bluewater Key, Colter Bay, etc, but other places not.

LOL At least our town provides water for trailers to fill up "just in case"!
