Does it make you feel uncomfortable

saying when you are leaving home to travel in your RV? Even if you do not disclose your personal info it is not that hard in the digital age to find it. I worry about posting before a trip so never do tho do post after the trip. Stuff happens.

  • I never post information on social media such as Facebook until I return from the trip.

I also put the mail on hold by going to this site:
    USPS Mail Hold

We make sure newspapers are stopped, and we have a trusted neighbor who picks up any phone books, circulars, etc. that people leave on our property.

Of course, there is all the preparation for security in the house, but I'll save that for another post.
  • I never post when I am heading out on a trip or while I am on the trip. I wait until I get back home. Of course if the bad guy notices that your RV is gone, then that is a tell tale that you are out on a trip. Still I try not to advertise it.
