We used to stay at home for Christmas with our children and grandchildren. Then about five years ago we weaned them of that and left right after thanksgiving.
Last year we weaned them of that and left just before Thanksgiving.
This year we left the week before Holloween.

Been very hot in mexico as well compared to other years. This is an extremely strong el nino year.

Yep, another day in SW Florida with temperatures in the high 80's, a breeze from the Gulf, an umbrella for shade, a beer in one hand and a book in the other. When it hits 90° I'll just jump in the pool.

Hubby just arrived Sarasota for 6 weeks fishing tonight and said it's real hot and humid. We're waiting for snow looking at the sky today.

It really is hot here in South Florida right now. I'm in Ft Myers and the forecast is for highs of 90 or so to go with that famous Florida humidity.

A little moderation would be OK.

I'm read to go. That's my kind of weather.
