Durango/ Mesa Verde/ Ouray Colorado Travel Plans

I'm surprised no one has asked this yet . . . When you say this spring, are you meaning April or ??? Spring in northern AL is a WHOLE lot earlier than in Durango. And even though Durango may be OK in late April or early May, the mountains around can still get significant snow at that time. So your question on Wolf Creek Pass (US 160) is dependent upon when spring springs here in CO!
