Duty free liquor
I am traveling down to the US and was wondering if it is really cheaper to buy liquor at the duty free shop on the Canadian side. Or is it cheaper to buy it down in the states. Thanks

The link takes you to a short article on the tax structure for beer, wine and liquor in all 50 states. There are three maps showing taxes for each item in each state.
As an example the state tax on liquor in Washington is over $35 a gallon, but in Arizona it is $3 a gallon.
