Not sure what you mean by "far out of the way," Fred. It's located at Shaver lake. We've driven up through Big Creek a few times and it is a really beautiful drive. The road goes all he way up to Huntington Lake. According to the very nice reservation lady, it is a state law that prohibits transporting firewood from one county into another. First I've ever heard of it. Even she agreed that everyone, including her, takes their own firewood to the coastal areas. Oh well, whatever the rules are, we'll go by them. I just figure they have jacked up the already high asking price for a small bundle of wood down in the town area. On the other hand, you can't put a price on "smores" with the grandkids around the fire.:B
