Not that we would return to Edisto, but for those who don't know where to get water that is drinkable, just drive to the "municipal complex" near the water tower and fire station. At this location you can get five gallons of excellent reverse-osmosive drinking water per day. The water at the campground is the most foul-tasting stuff. You can't even make coffee with it.
