Emigrant Lake, OR

We will be headed to McMinville, OR for a one month stay to explore and enjoy this great state. On the way we have planned several days at Emigrant Lake Recreation Area. Never been there but it looks beautiful, we are asking for inputs on the area.

    I don't know about Emigrant Lake, but we thoroughly enjoyed the Evergreen Air and Space Museum. There are also quite a few good wineries in the area...Carlton has several tasting rooms right on the Main Street.

    Honestly I've never been there, but heard its nice.I dont know how the water level is, we've had a pretty dry year again with hardly and snow and rain. I know Howard Praire Lake the boatdocks are still in the mud, and I believe that lake feeds Emigrant Lake. Good luck on your adventure and enjoy the state!
