'Encore & Thousand Trails'

I have been searching for rv parks around the Mammouth Cave area and came across this "Encore & Thousand Trails" RV park program. It seems to also be a Good Sam park. I would like to get some feed back from paid members of this group of parks. Is is what they advertise
  • What is the name of the C.G.?

We stay at Singing Hills just outside Mammoth Cave on our way down south and on the return. It is a Passport America park, friendly hosts, nice long drive thru sites and is open all year. It works fine for us for overnight. Would also stay a couple of days if needed to but we always use our own washroom. Theirs leave a bit to be desired, unless they have been updated recently - I haven't taken the time to look the last 3 years we have been there.

Encore and Thousand Trails programs are only good if the parks are in a location that suits you and you make a point of using the program.
Do the math before signing on the dotted line - and read the fine print.
  • If you think TT might work for you buy a zone pass I think currently $500 a year dues and that gets you 30 or 31 nights free and any additional are $3.00.

Again as tripalot stated make sure the locations are somewhere you will use them, this goes for any membership campground.
  • To answer your question, I think you are looking for Diamond Caverns Camp Ground in Park City, Kentucky. It is part of the Family of Thousand Trails/Encore Resorts. It is part of the Mid-Atlantic Group. Located at 1878 Mammoth Cave Parkway in Park City, KY 42160. The Ranger Station is at 270-749-2891. The TT Members List of Preserves shows there are 72 Hook-up sites 19 Park Model Rentals and 44 Condos at this Property. You may want to go to Thousand Trails on the net and check this property out.
    Good Luck and Happy Trails.
  • Pretty much all Thousand Trail CG's rent sites to the general public, so if it's just for the weekend call and see if they have open site.
