End of an Era

A sad day recently arrived in the boondocking world. Ms. Tioga and George have retired from the RV life. :(

George was an inspiration for me 13 years ago when I first got into RV'ing and boondocking. I credit most of what I know about boondocking today because of George and his exploits. He will be missed.

    George had some amazing adventures. He did it right -- do it while you can! Eventually, all of us (if we are lucky and live a long time) will have to slow down with age.

    I have followed George and Ms. Tioga for a number of years. He is an inspiration to the full-time and boondocking world.

    The last few years have been tough on him emotionally, and now physically. Fortunately, this last episode revealed a problem that was fixed and no one else was harmed...except for Ms. Tioga.

    It will be interesting to see where life takes him now.
