Looking for a nice place to stay outside the park? Will be a week long trip to visit the local stuff, breweries and spend a lot of time in the Park.
Concrete pads, 50 amp and clean?
Suggestions Please?
H E R E - Estes Park is a previous post that may be helpful, it all still holds true.
None of them that I can recall have concrete pads; most are gravel, some are dirt.
IMHO Elk Meadow or Spruce Lake would probably work best for you. Of the 2, I prefer Elk Meadow because it has pull through sites available vs back in at Spruce Lake. It's also less crowded together, relatively speaking. Check out the reviews at rvparkreviews.com
If you can advise when you plan to be there, other suggestions can be offered, as to things to see and do in the area. You'll also likely get some/a lot of responses offering alternative suggestions to Estes Park.
One thing to add -- I see you have a yellow Lab, and note your User Name. Inside RMNP your fur friend will be very limited, only allowed in parking lot areas, not allowed on any trails. There are alternatives though. In surrounding USFS area trails, your companion will be able to go along on hikes, if hiking is in your plans.
