I think you will enjoy it. You will have to seek out the Amish. For the most part, they have signs on the mailboxes stating what they sell. You need to drive up the driveway, get out and start toward their out buildings. The goods they sell are usually not in the house, although occasionally some were on a back porch.
We were there in September and they did not mind us walking in the wood work shops, leather shops and others but if you just drive by, you will not see much.
