Someone in another thread said that the camping in Eureka area n. of Silverton had been turned into a "fee" area. Anyone been up there this year and have any additional information? This area is one...

Woe is me!
Just got off the phone with BLM that referred me to the town of Silverton and here are the facts...
BLM and Silverton did a land swap of some sort last year and the old Eureka townsite is now managed by the town. There are 40 primitive spaces plus overflow, pit toilets, non-potable water, store, campground host, and you get to pay $10 "per unit".
