Fall Creek Falls State Park in Tennessee

Any opinions/reviews on FCFSP. I've heard it's a nice place to camp. Thought I'd tap RV.NET's knowledge base on the subject. We are going to try to go the Spring or early Summer.

  • I was told there was a golf course near Fall Creek Falls but have not been able to confirm it. Can someone advise. We intend to come down this summer and being an avid golfer I'd like to play if there's one close by.

During the 1950's before the dam, no water in the summer. But we loved it. Also only dirt (gravel) road.
  • Fall Creek Falls is one of our favorite places! Great park, lots of great hiking, biking trails. Be sure to eat at the lodge on Friday night, all you can eat seafood. Great place to go especially since you can now make reservations online.
  • one of our favorite places to go. Any time of year is nice unless there is a drought :E go and enjoy Larry
  • we went there a few years back and really enjoyed it. lots of hiking and great views. I would recommend going. we got a FHU and it was great. I highly recommend it.

Back in the 80's during a minus zero spell, I drove over to the park and took pictures similarly to the one posted above. Just awesome.

Go for it. The Park is great. Have dinner at the lodge.
  • Go for a day NOW. The cold weather will make the ice outstanding. I tried to insert a link to some images, but there are too many. Do a google of fall creek falls state park winter images
