Have never boondocked but may try it this winter. I know that boondockers don't like others to camp too close. What is considered too close? Thanks Nick
In hilly terrain, if you park on a ridge, you may be within sight and sound of someone on the next ridge. In valleys or canyons, you may be more isolated.
I try to find a campsite where no one else can possibly boondock nearby -- very hard to find. But not impossible, with enough hunting.
