Far enough away.
Have never boondocked but may try it this winter. I know that boondockers don't like others to camp too close. What is considered too close? Thanks Nick

Who says "Down in the Boondocks"??? Boondocks are "OUT". And boondocks by definition can't be part of any town- if it's in town, it's not boondocks.
Ol' Billy Joe just used "boondocks" 'cause the correct term for his sad case ("wrong side of the tracks") doesn't fit the music! ;)
