The wife and I are considering going to this park later this year. It is close to St Augustine. I was wondering if anybody has stayed at this parks? How are the sites are they well shaded and kind of private? What is the overall park it's self like? Thanks for any replies and yes I have been to rv park reviews just want to hear from people that have been there on here thanks.

  • We were there in April/May 2013. Nice quiet park. We had no issues, but there again our B is easy to accommodate. Facilities were very clean and entire staff was extreme;y friendly.

We then moved up to Anastasia SP where we did have reservations.
  • We stayed there using our old Coleman pop up. Love the fireflies and walks. Not for big rigs. Lots of overhanging branches.
  • You will fit fine. Short 10 or 15 min ride up to town. Really easy drive. We got multi day trolley ticket and never had to worry about parking. We canoed up to i95 bridge from campground. It was nice little paddle
  • @Jayco we have a 2005 trail lite 27 foot with a small slide just a sofa in the slide. Anastasia is already just about full for the time frame that we are thinking of going. I forgot to say when we was planning on going we are considering November 25 - December 3. Also how far is the park from St Augustine?
  • It's rustic and tight. I can't go in in my rig. Nice park. There is a reason you can get in while you can't get into Anastasia.
  • I probably have more photos but I found two on my old website. See photos 4 and 5.

  • We stayed there a few years ago. We liked it. We felt there was plenty of space between sites. Interesting drive back to the campground. I would definitely go again.

    What size rig?
  • We stayed there a couple of years ago - but only for one night on our way home from south Florida. It was a nice Florida SP - lots of trees, good separation between the sites, and it looked like there were plenty of hiking trails and stuff. My brother lives in St. Augustine, and that is one of his favorite tent camping spots ....
