All of the COE campgrounds (most around $10 if you have the old dudes pass) along the Arkansas River in Arkansas have great camping, boating and fishing, some with camping spots right on the river. Also the COE campgrounds on most lakes in AR & MO, (Beaver, Table Rock, Bull Shoals, Greers Ferry). A couple of the state parks in AR have beautiful parks and fantastic lakes (Lake Catherine(my favorite) & Lake Ouachita).
