Favorite Campgrounds for boating

Since its winter, would like to think warmer weather activities. This will be first season towing 19ft boat behind truck camper. Were are going to try Blythe County Campground Georgia.Looks nice there. Anybody want to share there favorite CGs. Don't want any secret spots ,just people that are interested in sharing.Would also recommend Santee Cooper SP. another nice campground with launch ,and good fishing.Canada spots welcome of course. Any state since we all travel.

  • In Maryland, two great state parks for boating are:
Point Lookout State Park: boat ramp, dock, campground; a little 'lake,' the Potomac River, and the Chesapeake Bay, all in one place, (Green's Point Loop will put your camper next to the dock - and has electric)
Jane's Island State Park: boat ramp, marina, campground; on the Chesapeake Bay.
According to rumors, both have good fishing.
