Beach is number one, (So much so we have a family house there now)
Upstate New York, Finger Lakes, Great Lakes.
Deep Creek Lake and Rocky Gap in Maryland.
Lake Toxaway in the Mountains of North Carolina, Asheville, and the Biltmore.
Hilton Head, SC
Blue Ridge - anywhere up or down.
Then the West, so much so that one son lives in Colorado, and we feel as if it's our second home.
As with all these locations we have found that the Weather/time of year, and the people you share the adventures with are often the most important element of all the trips we take.
