- TucsonJimExplorer III live in NE Tucson. What type of food are you looking for and I can give you some recommendations. As a starter:
Brewery - Barrio Brewing Company Nimbus Brewing Company
Mexican - Casa Molina, Poco & Moms, El Merendero
Casual/Bar - Risky Business (Kolb & Sunrise)
Italian - Cafe Milano, Roma Imports
And there are many of the typical chain restaurants in the city too.
Jim - RVcrazyExplorerWe like Chinese, Mexican, Italian & diners. White table cloths not required...
- TexasShadowExplorer IIVail Steakhouse and Diner, Benson highway near corner of E Colossal Cave Rd.
- Desert_CaptainExplorer IIIIf you get up to Oracle, the Oracle Inn has great food. We like to go for a late lunch but dinner is excellent also. Also when in Oracle don't miss Casa Rivera {on your right about half a mile off of 77}. Definitely a hole in the wall {look for the old mining equipment surrounding their dirt parking lot}, but great food, large portions at very reasonable prices.
Both are worth a stop after visiting the Biosphere 2, just another few miles north on 77 to the Oracle business district turn off.
:C - missourijanExplorerDaisy Mae's steakhouse, Silver Saddle steakhouse. We ate at the Vail Steakhouse and Diner last night, it was terrible, never again
- azdryheatExplorerBlanco's, El Coral, Longhorn, Piazza Gavi, Trident Grill, Finis Landing.
- Nutinelse2doExplorerLil Abners on Silverbell Rd has the best steak and beans... ever! Good entertainment too on the weekends. Also, Yankee Doodle Pizza... Killer thin crust pizza. Both of those are on the West Side though, and local joints, so not alot of fan fare.
- SCVJeffExplorerI try to hit Teresa's Mosiac Cafe just off of Grant when in town. The place sits up on a "hill" and the food is great. The last few times I've been there they were roasting Chili's right outside the front door, and the aroma was all over the parking lot as you drive in.
It just ain't fair... - guidryExplorerBub's Barbeque
- fulltimedanielExplorerEl Corral for the Prime Rib at really reasonable prices and the decor is worth the trip. The walls are adorned with photos of old movie cowboy stars (Think Lone Ranger Hopalong Cassidy and many others well known and not so well known.)
There are many good food trucks around all over and these can be excellent.
