We did a 2 weeks for Yellowstone and Tetons, seemed ok. Did we see all of it, no. Did we see enough? Yes. I wouldn't plan on any biking unless you are super serious road bikers, as after all, it's all in the mountains! We could have used a couple more days in the Tetons.
We stayed at Grant and Madison in Yellowstone, in the Tetons stayed at Coulter Bay for 4 days. Rest was split between 2 in Yellowstone.
We did Rocky mountain last July. It was a 2 week trip, but only spent 1 week at RMNP. The rest of the time was in Colorado Springs, Mesa Verde, The Great Sand Dune and the Grand Canyon of Colorado. A week was enough for RMNP for us. We stayed at the Timber Creek campground on the west side of the park. Had Elk and a Cow Moose with a baby in the campground. First come first served, no reservations.
