Between Cheyenne and Laramie (WY) there's a neat place just off I-80 called Vedauwoo. Perfect place for the kids to blow off some steam, running around and climbing on the unusual rock formations. Some people go there for serious rock climbing, but it can be fun to do some tame stuff and just look around.
