First come Campgrounds in Yellowstone and Teton

About three weeks ago I asked for information about the first come campgrounds and how they worked in Yellowstone. I got several responses and none of them were really correct. The reason is the rules...

You had a blast while "many people were turned away" because you paid for a site but did not occupy it. Someone could have "had a blast" camping if you had not selfishly kept a site you had no intention of occupying.
