First come Campgrounds in Yellowstone and Teton

About three weeks ago I asked for information about the first come campgrounds and how they worked in Yellowstone. I got several responses and none of them were really correct. The reason is the rules...

I knew many would have a problem with my not occupying the site the first night. I specifically asked a ranger and received an ok or I would not have done it. I stayed 9 nights and I refuse to let you all try to shame me or make me feel guilty.
If you don't think it's fair don't do it.
I stand by my decision and will do it again.
