There will always be those who play the system. I find it amusing to see people who probably complain about the cost of a campsite but happily pay for a site & leave it empty.
No difference to the park. They got paid either way.
I do agree with the park assigning sites rather than go pick your own. Too often somebody with a truck camper, a B or a small C will go in & pick a site way bigger than they need leaving sites that the larger rigs simply cannot fit into empty. This is no good for the park. Empty sites don't pay wages.
The "Oh well, I paid for it no matter the site size" attitude is nothing but thoughtless & inconsiderate. No better than the paid for but empty site leaver.
