first snowbird season in florida this winter 2014/2015-help

DH and I have wintered as campworksers in AZ last 4 yrs.Now we will winters in Big Tree rv park in Arcadia Florida for first time and not as camppworksers.We hear horror stories about bugs,humidity,...

FL will seem worlds apart from AZ. I have live both places. Our winter months are generally dry (relatively) but bugs will be bugs and really no problem once you learn how to control them. Yes, ants are a biggy but boric acid sprinkled around will take care of them. Food storage is a big concern too. Keep open pkgs. in baggies or closed plastic containers.
