Fishermans Corner
Has anyone ever camped at Fishermans Corner in Moline IL? It's an Army Corps of engineers. If so any recommendations for nice river view site. 34' fiver. Thanks Ron

It 's our favorite spot for local (60 miles) camping which we don't do much of. It's right on the river with a great view (some sites) of the **** and barges and is right on a very long bike path. Any restaurant or store you want with-in the Quad Cities. We just stayed in site # 8. There are 2 loops. Most of the sites in the loop with # 8 have a river view but none in the other loop. All are paved and level. Electric hook-up but not water. A caution that it is very popular and busy with seniors and now most sites are reserveable. There isn't much to do within the campground; that is, no hiking or similiar activities.
