We were in Yellowstone the last part of May and camped at Madison, Norris and Fishing Bridge. Norris was by far my favorite. We only stayed at Fishing Bridge for one night and that was because Bridge Bay was full. It's not awful, but it's also not camping. You're packed in like sardines and there are no fire rings. I would only stay there again as a last resort, but that's just me. We prefer a truer camping experience. On a side note, we had every kind of weather imaginable, from t-shirt weather, to snow, to thunder and lightening. We saw lots of wildlife and tons of thermal activity. I would highly recommend going in May. It was an amazing experience.
