I know there are charters run out of Yankee-town just north of Crystal River very successfully but havn`t tried it myself.

I just read the local paper yesterday and they had a full page report of what was being caught where, with what, and by what charter, at Cedar Key and Crystal River.

I was truly amazed at how good the fishing is in that area!!
The fishing report is in the paper everyday.

What surprised me is they are catching perch in a lake in Weirsdale go figure!

The fishing forecast appears in the Ocala Star Banner. Good info.
